Christmas in the South

Well, this is the first time that I've been out of Canada for Christmas. Myself and Stephen are spending Christmas with his parents for the first time since we've been together, which is almost 7 years. We arrived in Datona, Florida on Saturday morning and have had a nice a nice couple of days of vacation mode - eating, a few beers, relaxing, shopping. I am uber excited today as we are leaving in just a few short hours to go on a Caribbean cruise for the first time with his folks!!!
We board the boat at noon or shortly after and then set sail at about 4:00 pm. We are on a soveriegn class ship, Royal Caribbean's Monarch of the Seas. It looks like a friggin city, housing a main dining room, several specialty restaurants, shopping, two pools, a casino, several nightclubs, and a passenger capacity of just under 2500!
We are stopping in Nassau and Cococay, Bahamas on our 5 day excursion. The temperture back home in Ottawa this morning is -14 with a wind chill 0f -25, compared to the +20 it currently is in Nassau! I am looking forward to some much needed heat, vitaman D and relaxation!!
Merry Christmas everyone!
