So this was the view from our balcony on Friday. It had been calling for thunderstorms on Wednesday and Thursday which we did not get (although on Thursday night there was some cool lightening). But on Friday evening around 5:30 pm, the sky grew dark and the clouds were rolling in. Stephen took this picture with his blackberry and sent it to me...I love it! It doesn't even look real - more like a computer generated image...Our camera has been broken and we need a new one. I miss taking pictures.Last night we went to the annual International Chicken & Rib cookoff on Sparks Street. Large cooking booths line the streets as teams from Canada and the US compete for the coveted number one spot! Now...this sounds a lot more exciting than it actually was. HOWEVER...I did have the best Chicken and Rib combo that I've ever eaten in my life, followed by a Kilkenny at a pub on the street. A great way to spend a Saturday evening!
